Cross country has fueled Betty H. Fairfax High School student-athletes Karol and Sebastian Macias' competitive spirit and strengthened their sibling bond on and off the course.

​For this story, I went to a couple of their cross country meets to talk to the Macias' siblings and their coach to learn more about them and what makes their sibling bond so special. Writing up this human-interest feature story mandated multiple versions and numerous tweaks along the way.
